Angel Dominguez resides in, Spain
Angel was born in Basque Country in 1953 and now lives and works in Laredo, on the north coast of Spain. He is an illustrator of both wildlife and children's books. Examples of his work are to be found in VERTEBRADOS AMENAZADOS DEL PAIS VASCO (Endangered Vertebrates of Basque Country) by Antonio Bea, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland; and The King's Gift,
with the Queen Rania of Jordan and VIENTO Y MAREA (Wind and Tide) by Aitor Galarza. His work is represented in the United States also by the Duirwaigh Gallery (Atlanta, Georgia), and has been sold at Chris Beetles Gallery, Christie's and Bloomsbury Auctions in London and at Lewes, East Sussex. He has also had an exhibition of wildlife art in 2000 at the Natural History Museum, London. Among his work in progress is a wide range of books, on the mountain gorilla, various endangered species, and pirates.
