Significant exhibitions include: the Society of Wildlife Artists; the Wildlife Art Society; Marwell Art Society;N.E.W.A; The Contemporary Art Fair, Chelsea, London and at the Game Fair.His work has been successfully sold under the hammer at Christie’s and Sotheby’sWildlife Art auctions, and is represented in public and private collections such as the Diputación de Salamanca, (Council of Salamanca) Artis Art Galley, Salamanca and the Germán Sánchez Ruipérez Foundation, Spain. Noteworthy commissions include 180 hand coloured lithographs for Juan March Foundation, Madrid and several oil paintings of Omani fauna for the Sultanate/government of Oman. He was awarded the notable David Shepherd Art award at the Wildlife Art Society exhibition in 2000 with his winning work “latent power”. Later that year his work was published as prints by Solomon & Whitehead with “River crossing”. In 2002, 2004 and 2006 his work was jury selected into the prestigious Birds in Art at Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum (USA) He has had four acclaimed Solo exhibitions in Spain, 2005 La Salina, Diputación de Salamanca, 2006 Germán Sánchez Ruipérez Foundation, 2008 with the renowned Spanish bank Caja Madrid and 2010 with Artis Art galley, Salamanca, Spain. In 2009 Neil won the distinguished BBC Wildlife Artist of the year award with his painting “Bee-Orchid” and was runner up in another category with “European Bee-eaters”. In 2012 his work was selected for the “Focus on nature XII”exhibition at the New York state museum, USA. His watercolor painting was one of the award winners. He currently resides in Salamanca, Spain, living in the natural park Las Arribes del Duero and when not in his studio he enjoys the rural village life.
