Linda Relis
Originals

The painting style of Linda Relis was born of her love of nature and her concerns for the fast disappearing habitat of animals.  Cows meander along a dirt path, cream white geese leisurely stroll towards a pond.  Ducks - a favorite of Linda's - paddle along the placid surface . . .  Linda says, "painting wild and domesticated animals in idyllic settings is my way of preserving the landscape and the habitats because they re-emerge on my canvas."

Linda attended The School of Visual Arts, the New York School of Interior Design, and is a past member of The Reilly League of Artists.  She has exhibited her work throughout the United States, and has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors including The National Juror's Award from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, a finalist in The Artist's Magazine's Floral Competition.

Her oil paintings are in the permanent collections of the State of Florida, area county departments, and numerous private collections.  Linda is "a native New Yorker transplanted to Florida."
