"The Eurasian Nuthatch is one of my favorite local birds. They have that funny up side down way of climbing on trees, and they have a busy way about them. In Holland we call them "Boomklevers", which means "Tree-stickers". I painted the Nuthatch together with one of his American cousins: the White-breasted Nuthatch, both with colorful Rhododendrons." |
